The genesis of IAM was ECB Corp, founded by Ed Brumleu in 1980. Ed had a vision to build a great HVAC Duct manufacturing company in Southern California. He was very successful and built a great platform company in OmniDuct. In 2009, Incast Asset Management was formed as a holding company that assumed ECB Corp and became the platform for the creation of the additional portfolio companies.
